A Labor of Love: The Alpha is Live!

After months of late nights, endless cups of coffee, and plenty of moments staring blankly at my screen, I’m excited to announce that the alpha version of Myths.ink is live! This project’s been a labor of love from day one, and seeing it take shape feels unreal. But this is just the start. I’m eager to get it into your hands, hear what you think, and build it into something even better together.

Why I Created Myths.ink

I grew up obsessed with fantasy novels. Dragons, magic, distant lands, you name it, I was all in from the first page I ever read. When I tried writing my own stories, though, I ran into trouble. Most writing tools out there didn’t cut it. They couldn’t handle the messy sprawl of a big fantasy world, the tangled plots, or the characters that kept growing in my head. I needed something practical, something that could keep up with a multi-book saga and help me push past writer’s block when it hit.

So, I built Myths.ink. It’s a tool made by a fantasy fan, for fantasy fans. Not just another app to type in, but something to help you wrestle your ideas into shape, tailored for the real challenges of epic storytelling.

Myths.ink is in an invite-only alpha phase right now. I’m keeping it small to iron out the kinks and make sure it’s actually useful for you. A public beta’s on the way soon, though! Want in early? Follow me on X, and I’ll let you know when we’re opening the doors to more testers.

Why Myths.ink is a Game-Changer for Fantasy Authors

Writing fantasy isn’t easy. I’ve spent too many nights staring at a tangle of notes, trying to figure out where my story’s going, only to realize I’ve lost track of half my characters and their motivations. Most writing tools out there are useless for this. They’re either too simple to handle a sprawling epic or too bloated to be practical. I got sick of it, so I made Myths.ink.

This isn’t some generic app. It’s built for fantasy authors who deal with complex worlds and stories that don’t fit neatly into boxes. Here’s what it does:

• The visual plot tool lets you see your whole story laid out. Timelines, character arcs, whatever. Move things around without digging through a mess of files.
• The AI isn’t here to take over. It’s just there to throw you a lifeline when you’re stuck, giving you ideas to kickstart your brain again.
• Exporting is straightforward. Finish your manuscript, hit a button, and it’s ready for publishing or agents. No screwing around with formatting.

I didn’t build this for hype. I built it because I needed it, and I know other fantasy writers do too. If you’re fed up with tools that don’t get the job, try the alpha. It’s not perfect yet, but it’s a hell of a lot better than what’s out there.
